The genuine compassion of each of staff member is remarkable! It begins at the front desk and continues through each team member at every level up to the Director! One couldn’t find a more pristine development with kind and professional people in the wider FL area. They take the time to understand the needs of the individual and the families. In my case, due to pending international travel, they accelerated the typical check-in timeframe but still took all the care to ensure the best possible arrangements and care. I can now depart knowing my mother will benefit from the superb medical care and attention, full schedule of activities ranging from flower arranging to dance to bocce, and the four on-site restaurants (tasted the food at one and quite good).

Dana is a dynamic leader with over 20 years of experience in healthcare operations, biopharma, and senior living management. She has a proven track record of driving growth, expanding service lines, and improving patient and resident care through strategic initiatives and compassionate leadership. With advanced degrees in Biotechnology and a Doctorate in Health Administration, Dana combines deep expertise with a passion for fostering innovation and excellence in the healthcare and senior care sectors.
James Abbott
Sales Counselor
James is originally from South Africa and has now lived in Florida for 20 years. With extensive experience in hospitality, he tailored his skills towards his love for seniors. His desire to connect with people directed him to use his training to leave his first love of food and beverage and transition to sales. James’ cup is filled by helping families make informed decisions about their future and being a trusted resource for them. Outside of work, you will find James on the golf course or spending time with his wife, two daughters and his Golden Doodle.
Laura LaMothe
Business Office Manager
With a strong foundation in customer service, Laura brings a heart-centered approach to healthcare administration, focusing on creating a welcoming and supportive environment for seniors and their families. Dedicated to simplifying the financial process and ensuring clarity for new residents, Laura strives to make each family’s transition into the community as smooth as possible. Laura is committed to making residents feel confident and supported every step of the way. Outside of work, she actively serves in her local church, mentoring youth and fostering a passion for service in the next generation.
Barbara Beal
Director of Health & Wellness
Barbara is an accomplished RN with a Master’s degree, Doctorate in Education, and over 35 years of experience in roles such as VP of Operations, Director of Nursing, and Hospice Manager. Specializing in Long-Term Care, Home Care, and Nursing Consultation, she brings deep expertise and a passion for improving care, including a dissertation on Compassion Fatigue in hospice teams. Outside of work, Barbara enjoys traveling, beach activities, snorkeling, and attending art and music events.
Jeanne Lima
Director of Luminations
Jeanne brings over 15 years of experience in senior living, driven by her compassion and dedication to enhancing the daily lives of seniors. A West Palm Beach, Florida native, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, especially boating and relaxing at the beach.
Fernando Marulanda
Executive Chef
Chef Fernando Marulanda, born and raised in NYC, brings over 25 years of culinary expertise shaped by working in some of the world’s finest restaurants alongside industry legends like Danny Meyer and Thomas Keller. A graduate of the New York Restaurant School, he has held roles as Corporate Chef, Catering Executive Chef, and instructor at Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts. Passionate about food, music, and storytelling, Chef Fernando finds joy in connecting with others through these powerful mediums. When not in the kitchen, he loves traveling, classic films, literature, and spending time with his three grandsons.
Jamie Abner

With over 20 years in healthcare hospitality, including 15 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Jamie has built a career grounded in service, compassion, and creating exceptional dining experiences for seniors. As an artist specializing in realism and portraiture since the age of four, she brings creativity and a personal touch to everything she does, enriching lives through food, art, and connection. Beyond her professional life, she is a proud parent to an amazing teenager, embracing every opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others.

Vladenko Pajkanovic is a seasoned Director of Maintenance with a passion for facility management and over 20 years of dedicated experience in maintenance. Known for his strong technical skills and comprehensive knowledge in the field, Vladenko has a proven track record of ensuring facilities operate smoothly, efficiently, and safely. His commitment to excellence and attention to detail are evident in every project he leads. Outside of work, Vladenko values quality time with family and enjoys traveling to explore new places.
Rachel Riggs

Rachel, a certified Health and Fitness instructor since 2021, brings her expertise in strength, functional, and cardiovascular training to her role as Fitness Director at Grand Living. Passionate about making fitness fun and effective for all ages, she creates tailored programs to help residents achieve their goals. Outside of work, Rachel competes in marathons, weightlifting, and CrossFit, channeling her energy and dedication into every aspect of her life.
