My father moved to Grand Living At Riverstone 4 months ago… and is happier than ever. Not only are the facilities beautiful and exceptionally well-maintained… but the staff is extraordinary and even knows everyone by name. The food is great… and there’s multiple activities throughout the week… too many to count! Maria Alvarado was extremely supportive during the transition and even though my dad moved in mid-August… she’s still there to help with any questions we might have. We couldn’t be happier with our choice!

My parents moved to Grand Living Riverstone a little more than a year ago when they first opened. We picked the place because it’s brand new with resort style living. And it was the best one we found in Sugar Land after some research and visited 2 other retirement homes in the area. It has definitely lived up to our expectations. Food quality is very good. The place offered diverse activities including painting class, movies, variety of games, group exercises, happy hour with live band, theatre style performances, etc.. They also have on site physical therapist and occupational therapist which we found very convenient.. The gym has up to date equipment. My mom liked the salon service very much. Residents and staff are very friendly. We are very pleased with the facility and its services.

Grand Living at Riverstone is an excellent choice in the Sugarland area!!! […] Grand Living hits it out of the ballpark from the front desk, to the marketing team, to maintenance, to the healthcare workers. At the end of the day, it is extremely important how the residents and family members are treated and cared for and I have personally witnessed the dedication of the staff. One other very important aspect to note is that Grand Living offers a combination in the level of care needed in their independent living apartments. One of the first couples I moved in, the wife was self sufficient but the husband needed healthcare services normally only offered in assisted living facilities. Grand Living allowed for the couple to remain together in one independent unit that allowed them to stay together, he got the additional services he needed, and they saved money for not having to pay for two separate units making great financial sense. All and all Grand Living at Riverstone is an excellent choice!

Mary Broussard
Sales Counselor
After a career in Global Sales & Marketing with a major telecommunications company, I found my niche in the Senior Living industry13 years ago. I quickly discovered working with seniors, their families and hearing their stories provided the missing piece of gratification in my life’s puzzle. Simply, there are no words to describe the feeling of making a difference in someone’s life and providing peace of mind for their future. I’m proud to represent Grand Living, it’s a perfect community fit for me. My desire is to bring enthusiasm, energy to our team, and a smile to each resident’s face every day.
Personally, it’s important to celebrate friendships and families, I love to cook, travel, and enjoy good dinner with friends. Many weekends you’ll find me at my neighboring Farmers Markets. I’m blessed with two children. My son Garrett who lives in Houston and my daughter, Ashley lives in Ireland and is married to David. Their happy union has produced my three adorable grandchildren.
