Adam Zanger - Grand Living

ADAM ZANGER, LNHA, MBA

Executive Director

A midwestern native with multiple family ties to the Cedar Rapids area, Adam received an undergraduate degree from Knox College and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. After successfully opening and operating several communities as a licensed administrator, he entered a consultant role, handling projects for multiple corporations throughout the states of Washington, Montana, Wyoming and Illinois. With over 15 years of experience in healthcare and senior living administration, Adam has a diverse knowledge of the industry as well as a passion for customer service and relationship building.

BIANCA FOSTER

Sales and Marketing

Bringing the sunshine from her native state of Florida, Bianca has more than ten years of experience in sales, marketing, and community relations, spending the last five years in the senior living industry. Over the years she has dedicated her career to successfully leading residents, families, and teams at multiple housing communities throughout the United States. Possessing an undergraduate degree in public management and a master’s degree in public administration, she has always had a heart to serve. Bianca considers it an honor to work in senior living. It is here that she receives a sense of fulfillment, knowing she is making a positive difference in other’s lives. She is dedicated to working in the field of senior living and has worked diligently with hundreds of residents as well as their families. Bianca is also drawn to and very passionate about charitable organizations such as the Alzheimer’s Association. She is an active member of the Linn County Elderly Consortium and the Junior League of Cedar Rapids.

TERI KELEHER, RN/BS

Director of Health and Wellness

A native of northeast Iowa, Teri is a registered nurse with a Bachelor’s in Health Care Administration, and has worked in nursing for almost 30 years. Her passion for nursing started early, as she cared for her disabled brother and wanted to continue helping people live their best possible lives. She began her career in OB and NICU, and worked in that field for seven years. When Teri’s family moved to Monticello to start their own jewelry business, she began working in home health and public health for the county, eventually transitioning to a management role and working in a hospital setting as a transition liaison to help patients transition from hospital to home. She had supervised and mentored nurses and home health aides while working in a home health setting for almost 20 years. Teri has three grown children and a dog. In her spare time, she loves reading, biking, traveling, concerts, and spending time with family and friends.

JESSICA GARDNER

Jessica is a native of Minnesota, but has been a resident of Cedar Rapids for the past 15 years. She has a lifetime of experience in the senior industry. Growing up in a small, rural town, Jessica’s parents both worked at the local assisted living community. She spent many days volunteering and visiting with the residents there, and says she can vividly remember her first “best friends,” Steve and Joe, who were both in their 80s. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant throughout high school and college. After graduating with a BS in Athletic Training & Sports Medicine from South Dakota State University, Jessica managed a fitness center in South Dakota which catered to seniors, assisting them with basic health and fitness, physical therapy, and gait training/balance. After moving to Cedar Rapids in 2004, Jessica practiced real estate and once again her passion for working with seniors followed her as she eventually specialized in helping seniors downsize out of their large homes into a condo or smaller home. After finally realizing that her true calling was to enrich the lives of the seniors in her community, Jessica chose to pursue a career working directly with seniors on a daily basis. Over the past 7 years, she has held roles as a Community Relations Coordinator as well as an Activity Coordinator. Jessica is passionate about creating programs and activities that improve the quality of life for the seniors she serves.
