Dawn Osterweil

Executive Director

Dawn brings 25 years of leadership experience in the senior care industry, a journey that began when she cared for her grandmother and was inspired by the compassion of nursing home staff. Leaving behind a successful career in sales and marketing in New York City’s Garment District, she found her true calling in senior living. Over the years, she has held key roles, including Executive Director, Senior Executive Director, Nursing Home Administrator, Mentor, Training Specialist, and Operations Manager, always prioritizing exceptional service, team engagement, and meaningful connections with residents and their families. A New Jersey native, she relocated to Southwest Florida in 2017 with her husband Stuart, and their son, Jack. In her free time, she enjoys beach outings, shopping, cooking, baking, and fishing with her family.

Sarah Brown

Sales Counselor

Originally from Indiana, Sarah graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Communication. She began her career in the dental field, where she gained valuable experience over the course of many years. In 2014, Sarah relocated to Naples and instantly fell in love with the area. Despite being new to the senior living industry, she is enthusiastic about applying her education and expertise to enhance residents’ experiences at Grand Living, aiming to make them truly remarkable.

During her free time, Sarah enjoys spending quality moments with her family and friends, immersing herself in all the beauty and activities that Southwest Florida has to offer.

Alyssa Flynn

Sales Counselor

Originally from Ohio, Alyssa relocated to Naples, Florida, with her family in 2012. She brings a strong educational foundation to her work, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration. With a diverse professional background across multiple healthcare settings, Alyssa has discovered her true passion in senior living. She is proud to be part of the Grand Living team, where she brings both expertise and enthusiasm to her role. Outside work, Alyssa enjoys gardening, baking, and spending time at the dog park with her mini Goldendoodle.

Chris Segal

Sales & Marketing Coordinator

With more than 20 years of experience in the senior living industry, Chris has dedicated her career to creating welcoming environments where residents feel at home. Chris grew up on the South Side of Chicago in Pullman, a historic neighborhood now recognized as a National Historic Park. Her deep-rooted passion for hospitality, and years in the restaurant industry shaped her commitment to exceptional service and community engagement—values that seamlessly carried over into her career in senior living. Chris understands the importance of a smooth transition and is committed to ensuring that every new move-in experience is as stress-free as possible. When not at work, she enjoys relaxing at Doc’s Beach House, exploring the vibrant restaurant scene, or taking in live entertainment in Bonita Springs and Naples.

Yami Perez

Business Office Manager

Originally from New York, Yamilet Perez relocated to Florida in 2006 and began her healthcare career in 2011 at a local senior community. She has held various roles, including Benefits Coordinator, Community Liaison, Office Coordinator, and Executive Assistant to the VP of Clinical Services. In her free time, Yamilet loves running, dancing, and all things Disney. She is thrilled to be a part of the Grand Living family.

Lisa Kopfensteiner

Director of Health and Wellness

Lisa has been a dedicated Registered Nurse since 2020, bringing a diverse professional background in hospitality, healthcare marketing, and senior living. Before pursuing her nursing career, she gained extensive experience in the hospitality industry, working in country clubs, hotels, and property management. She also served as a marketer in both home health care and hospice throughout Southwest Florida. Her path into assisted living began as Food and Beverage Manager at a retirement community, further deepening her passion for serving older adults. A proud Naples resident since 1982 and graduate of Lely High School, Lisa is also the proud mother of three children. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time at the beach, staying active at the gym, and exploring the area’s beautiful parks.

Shani Vasquez

Assistant Director of Health and Wellness

Shani has been a Registered Nurse for six years. Her passion for senior care began at age 14, when her first job in an assisted living community inspired her lifelong career path. After earning her RN, she knew senior living was exactly where she wanted to be. She deeply values supporting residents and contributing to a compassionate, thriving community. In her free time, she enjoys shopping with her husband and two daughters while taking in Florida’s beautiful weather.

Brenda Akers

Director of Luminations

Brenda Akers recently relocated from St. Louis, MO, to join the Grand Living at Naples team. She graduated from the University of Missouri, St. Louis, with a degree in Social Work and she has over 25 years of experience working with individuals with Dementia & Alzheimer’s. Additionally, Brenda is a Certified Dementia Practitioner Trainer and Cognitive Stimulation Therapist.

Anthony Delphin

Executive Chef

Born and raised in Paris, the City of Love, Anthony began his professional journey at 16, initially training as a mechanic before discovering his true passion in the culinary arts. After completing a two-year culinary program and mastering family-style cooking as an apprentice, he moved to London to broaden his skills and learn English—eventually rising to the roles of sous chef and chef de cuisine. Ten years after graduation, he embraced entrepreneurship by opening his own pastry shop, L’île aux Gâteaux (“Island of Cakes”), where he spent seven memorable years. During that time, he welcomed his son, and recently celebrated becoming a grandfather. In 2004, he and his family relocated to Florida, where they owned a French bakery and bistro in downtown Fort Myers. With a rich background as a business owner, pastry chef, culinary director, and executive chef, he now brings his passion and experience to Grand Living, where he is proud to serve residents with joy and dedication.

Felipe Villaneda

Dining Room Manager

Felipe began his career in the food and hospitality industry in 1990, when he moved to California from Mexico. Five years later, he relocated to Florida, where he worked at private country clubs. Over the years, he has owned three different upscale restaurants, gaining valuable experience and honing his skills in exceptional customer service. Felipe is happily married with two beautiful daughters, Karla and Melani. In his spare time, he finds happiness in attending church, and enjoys walking outside.

Erich Neiman

Director of Maintenance

Originally from New Jersey, Erich was raised by his grandparents which had a profound impact on his upbringing and inspired him in his career in senior housing. Interacting with the residents daily is what he most enjoys about his job. After 26 years in senior living facilities maintenance, there’s not much that Erich hasn’t seen or done. Outside of work, Erich is extremely family-oriented spending most of his free time with his wife and two beautiful daughters.

Vicky Martinez

Director of Environmental Services

Vicky brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in hospitality and health care to Grand Living. Having spent many years in the luxury hotel industry, as well as serving in roles in assisting living communities, she has the expertise to serve FIRST CLASS HAPPINESS® to Grand Living’s residents. Vicky is originally from Costa Rica and moved to Naples over 30 years ago. In her free time, she loves to watch movies, indulge in dinner at restaurants with her husband, and spend time with her family.

Renee Hahn

Director of Facets

An Iowa native, Renee has lived in Florida since 2020 and brings valuable experience in senior living environments as well as a degree in management from the University of Northern Iowa to the Grand Living team. Her passion for caring for seniors stems from her experience with her own grandparents in senior living communities. As Director of Facets, Renee’s conviction is to enrich the lives of all the residents with compassion and to spread joy with her community dog, Clutch.

Myra O'Coin

Director of Fitness

Myra arrives at Grand Living with international licenses and certifications received from schools and programs recognized as the foremost and leading sources of knowledge in the fitness and wellness industry. With over 30 years of distinguished experience, Myra relocated to SWFL after selling an exclusive and highly successful fitness and health club that she owned and managed in Alberta, Canada. Myra’s tenure as a Master Personal Trainer and elite fitness instructor is notable for her ability to effectively develop and deliver customized concierge fitness and wellness programs for participants ranging from those compromised up to Olympic level athletes.

A full life is not only measured by the number of breathes you take, but equally, by the number of moments that take your breath away.
