Originally from Muncie, Indiana where she attended Ball State University, Terri moved to Florida in 1985 to pursue her career. Terri has been honored by multiple organizations as Executive Director of the Year, Best Workplace Administrator, and Administrator of the Year. She is co-chair for the Florida Assisted Living Association (Citrus/Hernando) and a FALA board member.
“I am honored to be part of the Grand Living team. Leadership is not about titles or positions, it’s about one life influencing another. Here at Grand Living, we work together to provide the highest level of service to every resident, family member, and guest we have the privilege of meeting.”
Sales and Marketing
Before joining the senior living industry, Dianne worked in sales, customer service, community relations and sales and marketing. It brings her great joy to find the perfect apartment for a new resident and find them laughing with new friends, attending an exercise class and singing karaoke to their favorite song. She loves enriching the lives of seniors and building relationships with residents and their families. Dianne continues to participate in and support local Citrus/Hernando County organizations such as Inverness Business Leaders, Florida Assisted Living Association, Chamber of Commerce, Alzheimer’s Family Organization and Citrus County Continuity of Care, which strengthens and grows relationships in the community.
“I am thankful to be part of the Grand Living team where every day we have exceptional customer service which creates a personal touch to enhance each aspect of our resident’s daily life and elevates their experience to a remarkable level.”
Director of Health and Wellness
Kay was born in Missouri where her parents owned a local newspaper. She later relocated to Las Vegas and worked in human resources for Station Casino properties, where she enjoyed meeting new people daily and training and guiding them to the standard of excellence that was expected. While she loved her job, she still hadn’t found the one thing that made her light shine it’s brightest.
When her son graduated from high school, they moved to Indiana and built a rescue facility for dogs and cats. Seeing families rescuing the newest (furry) members of their family gave Kay great joy and sparked increased interest in serving others. When Kay moved to Florida, she followed her son’s footsteps and became an activities director. Once Kay began working with seniors, she felt the spark she had been missing ignite.
“My time living in the world of black and white, glitter and lights, and wagging tails all led me to this life of human interaction that I had been missing for so many years. I have met men and women that have forever shaped my life and have sparked a light within me that I will be able to carry with me for years to come. My hope is that I can continue to bring joy and laughter to residents that have given so much to me, as I want nothing more than to give them the best quality of life I can.”
